The FCC’s Emergency Broadband Benefit program will begin on Wednesday, May 12, 2021. If your organization serves people who do not have home internet, the EBB program will give qualifying households temporary home internet.

The pandemic revealed that households without internet were not able to participate in important activities–most notably, registering for vaccine appointments. Here are a few materials designed to help you get this information out to the people you serve so they can take part in this program. Thanks United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona for creating these materials and sharing them with National Digital Inclusion Alliance members.

This training document explains the EBB application process in case you want to have staff or volunteers register eligible households. There is also a FAQ Companion to the EBB Application Process.

Here are three fliers you can share with members of your communities to explain the EBB program.
