Google Photos: Your Guide to Storing, Editing, and Sharing with Google Photos

Google has some of the world’s most popular applications for desktop and mobile use. This course focuses on the Photos app, which features unlimited free storage, editing functions, and an assistant that creates fun GIFs out of your photos.

Google is no longer supporting Picasa. Most of the features that were in Picasa are now in Photos, but Photos is fully optimized for today’s mobile device users. Note that Picasa can no longer be considered “safe” without support to fix bugs and potential hacks.

Google Photos offers free, unlimited backup of your mobile phone’s pictures! It’s automatic and comes with a host of features too. Google Photos’ Assistant will even create collages, animations, and albums you will enjoy. And that’s only the beginning. This class is a great introduction to these features and will teach you how to install and use the app on your mobile device as well as on your desktop or laptop.
